Adriana Crespo – Project Leader

“Mandú is not just a company that performs functions and quantifies results.
Here, an activity is never an activity, it never is. There is always an opportunity to do something beyond, stronger, more potent and welcoming, finding and impacting others.
Mandú welcomes differences and makes this its main treasure, its formula for success.
I learned , I made mistakes, I taught, I built, I laughed and I cried, because the Mandú methodology is fluid and flexible like human relationships, and it is in this process of building affection and autonomy, that we impact people, that we change processes, that we implement new knowledge and rescue the ancestral knowledge, that we promote a connection with the Environment, that we make changes with the communities, that we think of ways and means to develop territories and foster community bases, seeking social innovation through being and being in the same house, the planet Earth.
Gratitude is the feeling that permeates my heart when talking about Mandú. An enormous emotion in remembering all the projects, communities and people that I was able to meet and exchange in my journey as a professional and a person.
Heart overflows! Gratitude, Mandu!”

Levi Pajehú – Field Analyst

"Mandu is a family. Here, you have the opportunity to see more broadly the processes that society in general is subjected to. After all, we work on actions that promote social impact, with the generation of shared value. These actions contribute to personal and professional growth, as well as being a way to give back to society the knowledge acquired."

Cassiele Moraes – Program Manager

“For me, Mandu means a history of commitment to sustainable development, supporting businesses and projects that contribute to generating income and shared value, respecting the peculiarities of each territory and enhancing the strength of each community.”

Pedro Silva – Business Modeling Lab Consultant

“For the last year, Mandū has been synonymous with opportunities. It is a space where I can apply the knowledge accumulated during my academic and professional career, and at the same time, exchange life experiences with other people who are spread across Brazil and the world at Mandū. In addition, I was able to have contact with projects that actually promote Social Innovation in different realities and even get closer to initiatives that preserve the memory of my mother, who was also a babassu coconut breaker in the interior of Maranhão. I hope that more exchanges are on the way and that new learnings are built collectively with Mandū.”

Eliane Santos – Human Resources Coordinator

“Mandū for me is nothing more than the realization of a life project mixing knowledge, contribution and a lot of learning.
Being part of this story brings great satisfaction to my development as a professional and person, in addition to the immense pleasure in doing part during my days here, I usually say that we impact places, projects and without a doubt our greatest asset which are people, it is for them that I have the greatest pleasure to serve, with the intense willingness to feel and know that this impact is accomplished.
Mandū brings that sense of ownership with the lightness of always doing what is around everyone and for everyone.” #soumandū

Our Trajectory

Our Trajectory

Our idea of social innovation began to take shape from an extension program of USP and PUC-SP, in partnership with the City Hall of São Paulo and FAO-UN.
At Fundação Getúlio Vargas, along with the Technological Incubator of Popular Cooperatives of the University (ITCP-FGV), we carried out the first partnerships with large companies interested in qualifying their investments in projects to strengthen local economies, from inclusive businesses.
Ises scale gains demanded its "university graduation" to turn an academic spin off of an impact business.
Our expansion and positioning as a social innovation consultancy led to a modernization, generating a new identity and the birth of Mandú.
We reached the milestone of 100 employees, consolidated our repositioning and celebrated 18 years of existence.
