In a period of time of so much uncertainty, it's becoming more and more common for people to seek out options in order to have an income, or in any way that makes you have other ways of writing the paycheck at the end of the month. It is becoming more and more common in the lives of brazilians, who often choose to undertake in seeking alternatives to the sale of any such product or service.

In the course of its history of nearly 17 years of its existence, the Mandū has accelerated to more than 30 deals of the selective collection of wastethat made it possible to transform the current reality for many families, entrepreneurs, and project/program files scattered in all over the world, and had, by means of the introduction of a procedure, the qualification of the work, the tools, the investment, and so on.

In this context, on the last Tuesday 20/7/2021, our founder, Philip Bannitz, he took part in an interview for the program, Expressed as the Capital Radio's Capital city. On the occasion, speakers, Wagner De, and Law of France discussed the 2 major issues: an entrepreneurial spirit, and the selective collection of waste. As a result, in the event you did not have the opportunity to follow up on a job interview, here are the points covered in this talk.

Wagner : Philip, who is a social entrepreneur?

Felipe: Social entrepreneurship represents the alternative to the unemployment line. In school we learn that, after finishing it, we've got to get to work, but as it is not always the case, as there are times that it's not a lot of work for all of them, it's important to go after the other possibilities, that is, in the case of a would-be entrepreneurs.

Marcela: This applies, for example, universe, collection, and for whom it works, sometimes not so improvised with recycling?

Felipe: The catação of recycled materials in the early 80's to become an alternative for many families, especially in urban areas, they gathered in the course of the day, and it was sold to a junkyard at the end of the day. In the early 90's, they began to realize that coming together, it was possible to construct a different reality to replace one for the truck, for example. There are a lot of people that they can earn up to R$3.000,00's, and with the proper. Some of the gains to the warehouse of their own and have the ability to have a child enrolled in the school. These people have organized themselves, and they went their separate ways that life is precarious. In other words, those people who furavam in the trash, there are entrepreneurs, sometimes even with a fleet of trucks. This is not a quick way, and not easy, but it is very possible. History's very nice that we get out of a bad situation to get into the house on their own warehouse pickers).

Wagner: How to get people to reflect on where she's going in the trash they produce? How to create the awareness in the minds of the people?

Felipe: This is a very important issue. Recycling is very connected to the environment, but there are many campaigns that show the need for the separation of organic waste and of what you can recycle, so this is one of the main discourse, but it is also a social issue to think about it in the recycle bin can be a high income for anyone who is working with the catação. This residue can turn a milk carton into a kid, for example. We're talking about many of the people who live in and depend on that the material can be re-used. In other words, this act of nobility and simple and it can help a lot of families who work as scavengers.

Marcela: The Mandū developed in Itumbiara an action with the character that came out of the landfill, and prosper in the process of recycling materials. Tell us how it was...

Felipe: This was a project carried out with the two private-sector companies and the Mandū has been invited to perform in the area. We have identified that the Season of our environment is formed by a pair of collectors, which at the time was working in a very simple manner. They already had the infrastructure provided by the local government, and we made a plan to fully participatory them. Through the business plan, we determine how many people will be benefited from, and how much each one would get. It was identified how many pounds are in collection, would be to ask, what are the areas of the tour, how to organize the shed, the outputs of the buyer. That is, a kind of shower in the store. The result has been an increase in the collection, and the coming of the young people living in the garbage dump, that they did not want such a life. The youth did not want what happened to it, but at the same time, they had the motivation, and income. We have a lot of stories from young men who were able to overcome the difficult situations of life.

Wagner: How to encourage those who need it, but it still doesn't have the courage to turn things around and work?

Felipe: “I'll talk to rise up out of the chair. The main thing is the guts, the attitude, and the knowledge you are seeking, especially on the internet. You have to believe you can do it. You have to be to instill in others that have succeeded. Search for someone in your neighborhood, that was a question you had... If you can, hold on to something that you have to have a passion to do so. Okay, but how does it do that? Here are the ways, to search, to listen to the people, potential clients, and research. Search your talents, and it is going to be at the top. It won't be easy, but it is possible. Seize your dreams!

It is in this sense that we are working on it. We transform ideas into projects and programs for the production of value that is shared between the society and the government, and corporations.
